# Themes

You will rarely need this page.

A theme is the whole look of a website: its layout, its type, the shape of
every page.

Your website does not use one of these. It was built for your trade, by hand,
around the way you sell your work. Go to **Admin**, then **Themes**, and you
can browse what is on offer. None of it is a match for what you have.

To change your colors, use the Site Theme settings instead. [Plugins](/admin/plugins/)
walks you through it.

:::caution[Warning]
Installing a theme from this screen replaces the look of your website in one
step. Your pages, photos and words are still there, but they land in a layout
built for somebody else's business.

Your homepage, your services and your quote form would all need putting back by
hand. Nothing on this screen undoes it.

Contact us if you want your website to look different. A new color, a
different front page, a fresh set of photos.

Tell us what feels wrong about it now. That is usually a small change, not a
new theme.
