Ask an AI about your website

Hand any page of this manual to an AI helper, and give your own assistant the address of the whole manual.

Ask AI

Every page of this manual can be handed to an AI helper. The AI reads the page. Then you ask it questions in your own words.

The buttons that do this sit at the top of every page, under the title.

Warning

An AI can be wrong. It can sound sure and still be wrong.

Check this manual first before you do anything the manual marks with a Warning. Those steps change what the public sees, and some of them cannot be undone.

Never paste a password into an AI.

The buttons at the top of the page

There are two of them.

Copy page copies the whole page as plain text. Paste it into any AI app you like, then ask your question.

Ask AI opens a short menu:

  • Ask ChatGPT about this page
  • Ask Claude about this page
  • Ask Perplexity about this page
  • Ask Google AI Mode about this page
  • View as Markdown

Click one and a new tab opens. The page is already loaded into the AI, with a question ready to send. View as Markdown is the odd one out. It shows you the plain text of the page instead.

What you see in Claude

Claude shows a small caution about text that was filled in for you. That is normal. The link opens Claude with the words already typed in the box, and Claude wants you to see them first.

Read the text, then send it.

If your company has its own AI assistant

Some businesses have an AI assistant of their own. You can point it at this manual.

Give it this address to read the whole manual: https://docs.lookoutridgeit.com/llms.txt

If your AI can connect to tools, use https://mcp.docs.lrit.app/mcp. The manual’s MCP server has the setup steps for each app.

Both of these cover the manual only. Neither one can touch your website. To let an assistant edit your site, read Connect your AI.

When the answer is not enough

An AI works from this manual. It cannot see your website, and it cannot see your account. For anything about your own site, ask us instead.
